Abstract: | Evaluation of Business Intelligence (BI) within the Banking Systems before buying and deploying them is a new approach to create decision support environment for managers in financial institutions. This research attempts to evaluate Business Intelligence criteria accelerating much more trend of development of Core Banking Systems (CBSs) with creating meaningful analysis, decision support environment and optimization of investment. In this research, fuzzy TOPSIS has been used to evaluate CBSs with respect to the BI criteria. In fuzzy-based method, the weight of each criterion and the rate of alternative are described using linguistic terms, which can also be expressed as triangular fuzzy numbers. With following the proposed framework, 4 Core Banking Systems and 34 Business Intelligence criteria were assessed. |
